1. Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using KaziAI Job Hunter, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.

2. What KaziAI provides

KaziAI Job Hunter provides AI-powered career tools including CV scoring, CV improvement, LinkedIn optimization, cover letter generation, proposal writing, interview preparation, salary estimation, career roadmapping, tax and invoice support, and job discovery. These tools are for informational and productivity purposes only.

KaziAI does not guarantee employment, interview invitations, salary outcomes, or any specific career result from using the platform.

3. Account registration

  • You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your password.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You may not share your account with another person.
  • You may not create more than one account per person.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:
  • Use the platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any AI tool.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate the platform or its AI outputs for commercial use.
  • Use the platform to generate content intended to deceive employers or misrepresent your qualifications.
  • Attempt to access another user's account.
  • Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the platform.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform's infrastructure.

5. AI-generated content

Our tools use Anthropic's Claude AI to generate CV suggestions, cover letters, interview questions, salary estimates, and other content. You acknowledge that:
  • AI-generated content is a starting point, not a final product. You should review and edit all AI outputs before use.
  • KaziAI does not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated salary figures, tax calculations, or career advice.
  • Tax and invoice information provided by our tools is for general guidance only and does not constitute professional tax or legal advice. Consult a qualified Kenyan tax professional for specific advice.
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of any content you submit to employers.

6. Subscriptions and payments

  • Subscription fees are charged in Kenyan Shillings (KES) and billed monthly.
  • Payment is processed by M-Pesa (Safaricom), Stripe, or PayPal. Their terms and privacy policies apply to payment processing.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically each month unless cancelled.
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to registered users.
  • Failed payments may result in suspension of premium features.

7. Refund policy

We offer a refund within 7 days of your first subscription payment if you are not satisfied, provided you have not used more than 3 AI tool requests during that period. To request a refund, email support@kaziai.co.ke within 7 days of payment. Refunds are not available after this period or for renewal payments.

8. Intellectual property

  • The KaziAI platform, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by KaziAI Job Hunter. All rights reserved.
  • Content you submit (your CV, career history, etc.) remains your property.
  • AI-generated outputs created from your content belong to you for personal use.
  • You may not resell or commercially distribute AI-generated content from this platform.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Kenyan law, KaziAI Job Hunter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunity, loss of income, or reliance on AI-generated career advice. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the platform in a way that could harm other users or the platform. You may delete your account at any time by emailing support@kaziai.co.ke. Upon deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days subject to legal retention requirements.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify registered users by email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any disputes arising from your use of KaziAI shall be resolved through the courts of Kenya. We encourage you to contact us first at support@kaziai.co.ke to resolve any issue before pursuing legal action.
